Honestly, I didn’t think anyone read this site.
It feels like the UK is falling apart right now, because it very much is. Hard times are here, and all the signals we’re getting say to expect them to get much harder before they get any better. The government will not help us. The royals will not help us. Corporations will not meaningfully help us. Martin Lewis is trying is best but he’s just one man.
We have to help each other.
So, since people are actually reading this, it’s time I started posting again.

i have recently starting getting organised and into ‘preparedness’ finances are tight at the moment as they are for most people but ive found that with other books and sites their advice is just way out of my league and space limitations-i live in a flat
i am so glad though that i have come across your site as it is so clear and relatable i have found it so useful

I have just stumbled across this site as news of the climate crisis – massive spikes in sea temps in particular – is ramping up.
The proverbial is going to hit the fan, most likely in the forms of food shortages not seen since WW2 or before, what this will do for the social fabric is anyone’s guess..
Any way the website really nice and very sane and level headed read.
